Professional Activities

I work constantly to build up the resources and outreach programs of the Five-Minute University, of which I am founder, president, and academic dean. Why go to college for four or more years and spend $60,000 to $100,000 to learn the five minutes worth of information most college graduates remember a few years after they graduate? At my new school, you attend for five minutes, including spring break. Law School or medical school requires an extra minute (each).

Other Interests

I am translating the works of Stephen Foster into Italian. Many, like Camptown Races, sound much better in Italian than English.

If I couldn't be a priest, I'd love to be a gondolier.
